Welcome to Hopewell Presbyterian Church!
80 West Broad Street Hopewell, NJ 08525 • (609) 466-0758

A place to call home that seeks to grow a community

of worship, prayer, and loving service,

glorifying God and spreading the joyous news of Jesus Christ.

Located in the heart of Hopewell Borough, our congregation is a beautiful, respectful blend of generations, families, and individuals. Our doors are open to all. Explore our church with the information here, or better yet, come join us, any Sunday. You’ll find that Hopewell Presbyterian Church truly is a place to call home.

10:30 WORSHIP.  At HPC, worship music is a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, with new and old hymns, choir and bell anthems, praise songs, and instrumentalists of many kinds participating. Children are always welcome! After the Children's Message, child care is provided for children through kindergarten age. After worship we enjoy refreshments and connect with one another at Fellowship Time.

Maundy Thursday worship at 7:30 in the Sanctuary, with plenty of music.

Good Friday Tenebre service at 7:30 in the Sanctuary.

EASTER MORNING: 6:00 Community Sunrise Service in Highland Cemetery. Community Breakfast at 6:45 in Fellowship Hall, and also at 9:30. Worship at 10:30 in Sanctuary.

Family Promise of Hunterdon County: For 2 weeks May 18-June 1, HPC will host homeless families who are enrolled in this program, by providing shelter and food.

Hearts and Hammers:  This ministry meets needs of individuals and families in Hopewell Valley who may not have the resources and ability to maintain and care for their homes. Contact: heartsandhammershopewell@gmail.com.

I.M.P.A.C.T. (Inspiring Mission for Parents and Children Together) provides opportunities for families to participate in hands-on service projects.

Thank you, Community Connections!  March 29 was a great day at HPC, with an Open House and free Concert that featured many people and family-oriented groups from the Hopewell area. In spite of the rain we had a great turnout and a great time! Many thanks to friends from Bricks4Kidz, which will hold 2 weeks of summer camp this year, and Creative Connections Play School, which will begin offering its program next fall -- both at HPC. Thanks also to other groups who already meet at HPC including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, the Flying Club (radio-controlled aircraft), Hopewell Valley Children's Theater, and violin lessons with Lynn.

Many small groups are meeting now at HPC and other locations for Bible study, prayer, and caring Christian support. Check them out on the Small Groups page. Of special interest: The Monday Crafters group is working on a new quilt to hang in the Welcome Center and will offer Mother's Day and spring items for sale at Fellowship Time on April 27.
