Servant Leaders

Presbyterians believe strongly in the idea of shared leadership. Our clergy have a unique role, but not a superior one. Important decisions are made in groups by elected leaders. We believe that more people have a better chance of discerning God's will than single individuals do.

All of this is done following the model of Jesus. Our constitution states...

The purpose and pattern of leadership in the church in all its forms of ministry shall be understood not in terms of power but of service, after the manner of the servant ministry of Jesus Christ.
